Job Vacancy: Fundraising and Grants Officer

As we continue to grow in all aspects of our work, we are looking for a new Fundraising
& Grants Officer to join the Foundation to increase our income from trusts
and foundations, and manage our portfolio of donor-funded grants. You will be
the primary contact for existing trust and foundation funders, develop and
maintain relationships with new funders, and liaise with our implementing
partners to ensure timely and quality reporting on donor-funded projects.

We are looking for a team player who is proactive, organised, has drive and ambition,
and is an excellent communicator with good attention to detail. As a small, innovative
and dynamic team, you will also be exposed to other areas of work including
events and communications. If this sounds like a challenge you would relish, we
want to hear from you.

applications for restricted and unrestricted funds, working to increase the
Foundation’s income from trusts, foundations, and other institutional funders. You
will carry out ongoing prospect research to develop and maintain new funder
relationships, ensuring that grant applications address funders’ grant-making
priorities while also meeting the aims, values, and priorities of Galilee
Foundation. You will liaise with our implementing partners to ensure timely and
quality reporting on donor-funded projects, and support partners with their
monitoring and evaluation plans.

You will have strong administration skills, be organised, proactive, confident, and have a proven track record of successful fundraising. You will have knowledge and experience of donor compliance, project monitoring and evaluation, and increasing support from institutional funders. The postholder will have a can-do, hands-on attitude and will explore new opportunities using sector knowledge to develop and grow the Galilee Foundation’s income from trusts and foundations. The postholder will have the opportunity to attend training to support their professional development.
