Big Give Christmas Challenge
What’s the Big Give Christmas Challenge?
The Big Give runs the UK’s biggest match funding campaign, the Christmas Challenge. For seven days, it offers supporters of participating charities the opportunity to have their donation doubled. Since it launched in 2008, the Christmas Challenge has raised millions of pounds for thousands of charity projects.
When does it take place?
In 2021, it’s taking place from 30 November-07 December & the Galilee is participating throughout this period! Any donation you make in this time, via the Galilee’s Big Give Christmas Challenge page will be doubled! That’s one donation, twice the impact!
How does it all work?
We have already received pledges from three generous supporters that they will match-fund us.
This is where you come in – every penny donated during the week-long challenge will be matched by this pot – one donation, double the impact!

What are you fundraising for?
We will be raising money for our Scholarship Programme – an initiative that gives the gift of education to needy Palestinian students in Palestine/Israel. Covid 19 has decimated the Palestinian economy. Your generosity will give them the extra support they need during these extraordinary times – helping them to fulfil their #PalestinianPotential & achieve their dreams!
