You can make a real difference and achieve your fitness goals in 2026, by registering your interest in running for The Galilee Foundation in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2026.
The money you raise will support the future of young Palestinians. By committing to a fundraising target, you can help ensure they have a brighter future. The money you raise, for example, could go towards essential scholarships for Palestinian medical students in Gaza and for engineers and innovators in the West Bank, as well as support the educational rights of young Palestinians in Israel.
Just a few reasons to join…
- You can make a real difference to the lives of young Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank and Israel.
£400 raised, for example, could cover one semester of tuition fees for a final-year Palestinian university student in Gaza studying critical subjects such as medicine, nursing, engineering, education, or information technology — fields essential during conflict and for Gaza’s future recovery.
£3,300 could fund a year-long scholarship for a Palestinian citizen of Israel, covering tuition fees alongside a comprehensive programme of cultural activities, volunteering, and leadership development.
- Every runner will get a free Galilee Keffiyeh running vest worth £30 SRRP
- Runners for #TeamGalilee say that it’s an uplifting and exhilarating experience, for a worthwhile cause
- Make a change this year, and meet your fitness goals for 2026!

Testimonies from past runners
Honestly, this was my first half marathon ever, I really enjoyed it. I knew last minute, a friend encouraged me to do it and it was very fun… It’s a very very good cause. Its supporting the Palestinian kids.
I have my own story which is I want to give back, I am Palestinian first, I mean when I was at university, I had someone support me with a scholarship and want to give back to my people, to Gaza’s people who are living in the worst conditions.” – Shadi
